I have been VERY impressed by that reel. It has the very smooth drag found on Bauer reels. The antireverse mechanism of the drag is improved as compared to a Bauer reel. Michael spent months and contacted me to help him finding the best drag material. The reel is built tough, the warranty is only 10 years, but I very much doubt it would fail. Mine did not and I fished it hard the past year. Here is the link to his website. Gerard Barhnard (Field Editor for the Complete Flyfishing Fisherman and Smallstreams.com) wrote a review of one of his earlier reels (the F100). The F100 was one of heck of a reel.
